Hi, I’m Melanie Beard, founder and owner of Blended IV & Wellness!
I’ve been a registered nurse for the past five years, beginning my nursing career in Labor & Delivery. During my time caring for the incredible moms in our community, I saw a need for convenient, personalized IV hydration and wellness services that could come directly to them, especially during the many demanding seasons of motherhood.
That passion for supporting women is what inspired me to create Blended IV & Wellness. While mothers will always hold a special place in my heart, my goal is to provide convenient, personalized wellness services for anyone looking to support their overall well-being—whether that means incorporating IV therapy into a wellness routine or simply getting an occasional boost during travel, illness, recovery, or those times when life leaves you feeling depleted.
Our motto is simple:

I created Blended IV & Wellness to fit into your life—not the other way around. As a mobile service, I bring wellness directly to you, whether you’re:

Behind Blended IV & Wellness is a very supportive husband and three busy, rough-and-tumble boys who keep life exciting and remind me every day why convenience and flexibility matter so much. I truly wouldn’t be able to do this without my family.

Dr. Luke O’Rourke,
DO, OB/GYN
At Blended IV & Wellness, we believe wellness starts with caring for the whole person. Our medical director, Dr. Luke O’Rourke, provides thoughtful clinical oversight with a patient-centered approach that considers each individual’s health history, lifestyle, needs, and goals.
Dr. O’Rourke earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2014. As an osteopathic physician, he takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing the importance of treating the individual—not just a symptom.
Working alongside our clinical team, Dr. O’Rourke helps ensure that our services are provided with safety, personalization, and compassionate care at the forefront. Each patient’s needs are thoughtfully considered to support informed wellness decisions that complement, rather than replace, their ongoing medical care.
Whether you’re navigating a busy season of life, recovering from travel or illness, supporting your fitness goals, or simply prioritizing your well-being, our goal is to make personalized wellness care convenient, compassionate, and accessible—wherever you are.

Provider approval is required annually and whenever there is a significant change in health history, including a recent hospitalization, new surgery, a new diagnosis, new prescription medication or other changes in your health status.
Services provided by Blended IV and Wellness are intended to complement, not replace, the care you receive from your primary care provider or other medical specialist. We encourage you to maintain regular visits with your healthcare providers and continue following their recommendations for your ongoing health and wellness.

Cancellation & no-show policy
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment and no-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled service.
- Rescheduling is subject to provider availability.
Eligibility & age requirements
- Patients must be at least 18 years old, or at least 16 with guardian consent.
- Every service is subject to individual assessment and provider approval.
- Approval is required annually and after a significant health-history change.
Payment & refund policy
- Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Card, or Venmo
- HSA and FSA payments accepted
- A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Your card will not be charged until your service has been completed, at which time you may also choose a different form of payment.
